Professional wildlife photojournalist and Expedition leader Inger Vandyke is a freelance contributor to Asian and Ocean Geographic journals and is also a Charter Member of Ocean Geographic. Inger is a long standing board member of the Southern Ocean Seabirds Study Association (SOSSA), the longest continual study of the Wandering Albatross at sea in the world, and is also a member of the Australian National Antarctic Research Expeditions (ANARE) Club.
In 2016 Inger was honoured as an International Fellow of the Explorer's Club for her work in documenting the vanishing culture of Tibet. She is also a Fellow of the Royal Geographical Society.
Inger is a PADI Rescue diver with nearly 400 logged dives in such regions as the Red Sea, the Mediterranean, Tahiti, New Zealand, Australia (Great Barrier Reef, Coral Sea, New South Wales, Christmas Island and the Cocos Keeling Islands), Easter Island, the Solomon Islands, Indonesia (Bali) and Tonga.
When she is not exploring the underwater world, she leads expeditions to remote regions of the world including Tibet, Antarctica, the Arctic and Africa.
