Solitude One

Aerial view of MV Solitude One underway in Palau (Julian Cohen and Solitude One)

Thanks to Solitude Liveaboards, you can head to Micronesia's remote islands of Palau and discover the beautify of one of the world's least visited countries without compromising comfort and luxuries.

The top-of-the-line liveaboard service promises to bring you unforgettable experiences both underwater and topside while you travel on its flagship vessel, MV Solitude One.

The 52m steel-hulled ship features 10 cabins, all fitted with spacious en-suite bathrooms and other features, including air-conditioning, hairdryers and towels.  There's even a flat-screen LCD TV in each cabin, which comes complete with USB media support.

For underwater photographers, highlights like the camera room and computer terminals are available to meet all your needs.  Serious R&R addicts can head up to the sundeck to catch some rays or even enjoy a massage by one of the on board therapists.

If that's not enough, there's a hot tub on board as well!

When it comes to the island-nations attractions, you will be in good hands under the care of Solitude One's well trained dive guices.  Follow them as they show you Palau's most iconic dive sites, from Blue Corner to German Channel and Chandelier Cave.  Gorgeous reefs, majestic wrecks, intriguing caves, amazing drop-offs - expect plenty of action in Palau's waters.

Underwater isn't where all the action is, however.  Interesting sites abound topside including Jellyfish Lake (where you can snorkel with millions of jellyfish), and Milky Way - a lagoon which has white limestone mud with healing properties; scoop some up and slather it all over yourself for a natural spa experience!
